Merry Christmas

From Our Apartment!!
Yes, this year me and my cute room mates decided to do christmas cards. They honestly turned out so cute, and maybe it is just my own biased opinion. I cant even descibe how much I have loved living with each of these girls we always have so much fun.
Stef- Is a amazing singer...serioulsy!! She is the VP of Activites so basically she is kind of a big deal.
Jacki- Volleyball player. She has the best jokes, and the best sense of humor. Also, she has the strongest testimony.
Vay-Soccer player, and a smarty pants. She has such a big heart, and always knows what to say to make you feel better.

Tis the Season...

For Christmas Parties!! On Tuesday we had one of our student governement christmas parties. We started the evening with soup and bread bowls, then a suprise visit from Santa and Mrs. Clause themselves, a white elephant gift exchange, and last but not least a cookie decorating contest. Which I happend to be one of the Winners!!

Thursday night we also had a student governement party. Which consisted of the 14 council memebers. The theme for the night was ugly sweaters, and crazy socks. The night began with dinner at wingers due to some unexpected waits at some other resturants none the less great time with this gang.

Then we were off for some Christmas Caroling at Kolob care and rehab center.

Last week Dixie State had a dance and all of the proceeds were for angel tree. So we got the chance to go to walmart and spend the money that we had earned. I love this time of year!! When else would you just spend 1500.00 dollars on toys for famlies in need?

The night ended with a gift exchange, and of course way to many Christmas goodies!!

What a better way to celebrate the Holidays then with a bunch of friends. We have so much fun together even through all of the crazy stressful times of meetings, actvities, and just council stuff.

I love you all. What a good semester, and only one more to go. Crazy!!

Home for the Holidays

I love the Holiday Season there is nothing better than just being at home and hanging out with the family. Thanksgiving break was so much fun, and I am so grateful to have such an amazing family to be able to spend time with.  The week consisted of:

A yummy Thanksgiving Feast, and yes I sure did get my share of pie!! It does just happen to be my favorite part of the whole entire meal.

  Happy Birthday Chelsea!! I could not go today without giving a shout out to my best friend. So here is 22 things about Chelsea....

1. Today is Her 22nd Birthday, and so that means its her Golden Year!! 

2. She was one of my very first college room mates, and we became such good friends.

3. She is such an amazing example to me.

4. She always gives the best advice, and knows exactly what to say to make me feel better. 

5. She is serving her mission in California. Of course she is out kickin butt because that is just what chels does.

6. She has the biggest heart of any one I know.

7. She has the strongest testiomony.

8. She is Hawaiian, but gets teased about being asian. In a loving way of course : )

9. She has an amazing singing voice.

10. She is such a hard worker.

11. She has such an amazing family. That I have had the privilege to spend time with.

12. She is always up for a good sneak out.

13. She has a love for older people, and has the best stories.

14. She is a world traveler, and has been some amazing places such as Africa, Mexico, Thailand, and many more.

15. She is a service girl.

16. She can pick out anyones little quarks.

17. She has a love for boating.

18. She is always up for a good girls day with shopping, going out to eat, and way to much candy.

21. She has the cutest style, and is just so dang pretty.

22. She is my Best Friend, and I just love her so much. We have so many fun memories together.

My Best Friends Wedding

Let me tell you about Tiffany Thompson. Our parents became friends right after they got married so we have been life long family friends. She is about a year and half younger than I am so I have literally known her my whole life. We always just say we are cousins or practically sisters. I have so many fun memories with the Thompson family here are just a few:

Well on November 6, 2010 Tiffany married her best friend in the Vernal Utah Temple. She of course looked beautiful, and I also got the chance to be one of the bridesmaid's. The whole weekend was such a party being able to be a part of the special day as well as spending time with the family and friends. I am so happy for them, and cant wait for their new adventure together.

Ok let me tell you about how bad I have always wanted to catch someones wedding bouquet because serioulsy this has been a big thing for me. Honestly there is really only a period of time where you are eligable to stand in the bouquet toss because it really doesn't count unless your at least 18. That has also been a pet peeve of mine why is it that a 12 year old needs to catch the bouquet...they dont. Trust me I have tried a few times to catch it, and have always failed. Well at Tiffanys wedding it was finally a success. Yes, thats right I caught the bouquet!!! So I guess we will just have to see what happens.

I just love this girl.

We have so many fun memories, and I can't wait for all the memories still ahead.

Sisters Weekend

Last Weekend I had a girls weekend with my sisters. Let me just tell you that I seriously love them. We always have so much fun together, and we laugh at every little thing. Of course we always bring back old memories or funny stories to make fun of each other. The weekend started with Linnea running a 5k because she is good at life like that. Me and B of course are just the best cheerleaders ever. That afternoon we ended up at the what women want expo which its always fun to go and browse. Note to Self: Dont go unless you have money to spend. They had so many cute things, but dont worry I didnt buy one thing. That night we went and saw THRILLER!! Which it was amazing if any one has never seen it I would highly recommend it. Its a fun event that gets you in the mood for Halloween.

The night ended with ice cream from Krave and a trip to Arbys. Yes, it was in that order. We also decided to buy matching PJ bottoms just because we are kind of cool like that. We of course stayed up late doing a face mask and watching a chick flick. We also just got to catch up on life with school, boys, and etc.

Arizona Trip

I had the chance to take a trip to Arizona and visit one of my best friends. Let me tell you about my friend Karley. She and I met working for an oral surgeon, and just clicked instantly. We have so much in common its almost crazy. Anyway she moved to Arizona about a year and half ago. I always talked about going out to visit and over fall break I finally did!! We spent the whole time shopping, going out to eat, watching movies, and just catching up on life.

Birthday Fun

I just want to Thank Everyone who made my big 21st Birthday so special. It was amazing!! I honestly have the bestest friends, and such an amazing family. The day started out with a cute decorated bathroom by my roommate Jacki. That afternoon my roommates/ best friends took me out to a local place 25 main for lunch and it was delicious.

Later on that night we had a bunch of friends come over for brownies, and ice cream. Of course they sang Happy Birthday then I got the biggest suprise of all. They had secretly bought my favorite dessert ( Pie) specifically Marie Calendars-Raspberry, and even baked it at a neighbors house so I would have no idea. All a long I just thought I was having brownies....Those little cuties.

The night ended with us girls cuddled up in our PJ's to a movie, and Presents of course!!

The fun was not over quite yet I headed home that weekend to celebrate with my family.

Once Again Thanks for such an Amazing Birthday. Oh and now there is not one thing I cant do...scary I am finally at that point. The Horizontial Drivers License is on its way!!

Now its Homecoming Week at Dixie which means as a student leader craziness and a whole lot of fun activites. I will have to post on that later.

Happy Birthday Linnea!! I guess Happy Birthday to us 21 years old today...Crazy!!

You are seriously my best friend, and I dont know what I would do without you. I guess that is one of the reasons I was lucky enough to have a side kick ever since day one.

Things I love about You:

 I look up to you so much, and have been just steps behind ever since the beginning.

I always can come talk to you, and know that you will listen to me as I give every detail.

You are always so determined, and if you set your mind to it you better believe it is going to get done.

 I have always had the best April Fool's jokes thanks to you, and you have to admit some pretty dang funny stories to follow.

You are always up for something fun, and spontaneous.

You are blunt, and I know you always have my back. Even If I have gotten a little embarrssed about it at times.

We have all these inside jokes, and you get my sense of humor. We can always laugh at some of the dumb "twin questions" we are asked.

You are going to be the best "damn" nurse ever.  

You always keep me going and motivated even when I just want to give up.

Your always up for some mexican food, and a some sherbert ice cream to follow.

You would be perfectly content laying on the beach.

You make the best shopping buddy, and probably have been spotted in your PJ's at a every time of the day at least once.

 

Linnea, I hope you have the best day ever; you deserve it. I am sorry that I cant be there with you to celebrate, and its always a weird feeling not being able to blow out candles with you. I promise I will make it up to you this weekend, and we can party together then.
